'Naked and Afraid' contestant Melanie Rauscher was found dead in her Arizona home while sitting her dog.
Melanie Rauscher, 35, was found dead on July 17 while dog sitting at a home in Arizona.
Her official cause of death has not been determined
Her body was found near multiple cans of compressed air meant to clean computer equipment
In 2017, Ms. Rauscher competed on Discovery's survival series, "Naked and Afraid."
Her co-star Jeremy McCaa responded to the news of her death in a heartfelt Facebook post.
“She came into my life in ways I can't explain. We had such a chemistry on the show that it grew into a friendship beyond words,” Mr. McCaa wrote.
"You’ll always be my Mel. I love you and I’ll see you again one day. The world lost an amazing person",
Mr McCaa wrote.
