Donald Trump described his first wife as "a wonderful, beautiful and amazing woman who lived a great and inspiring life."

"Our mother was an incredible woman — a force in business, a world-class athlete, a radiant beauty, and caring mother and friend," Eric Trump wrote

Son Eric Trump said, "She taught her children about grit, toughness, compassion and determination."

Ivana Trump unresponsive at the scene and emergency medical services pronounced her dead, the New York Police Department said

There were no signs of foul play, and the city's medical examiner will determine the cause of death

According to the biography, Ivana Trump grew up in Gottwaldov, Czechoslovakia, south of Prague.

She moved to Canada in the 1970s and worked as a ski instructor before starting her modeling career

In 1976, she met Donald Trump and the couple got married oin 1977, according to the biography

Her first son, Donald Trump Jr., followed by daughter Ivanka  and son Eric
