Former Steelers WR Charles Johnson dies at 50

The former Pittsburgh Steelers first-round pick spent five years with the team

The cause of Charles Johnson death is still unknown.

In 1994, the Steelers selected Johnson 17th overall

He spent five years in Pittsburgh, recording 247 catches for 3,400 yards and 15 touchdowns.

Johnson also played with the Philadelphia Eagles from 1999-2000, New England Patriots in 2001 and Buffalo Bills in 2002

He later moved into the coaching ranks and is currently the assistant athletic director at Heritage High School, according to CBS
