Britney Spears says she is saddened by her ex-husband Kevin Federline's "hurtful" claims
Federline said: “The boys decided they weren't seeing her anymore. It had been several months since they had seen her. They decided not to go to her wedding."
Federline, 44, a former dancer, later added, "It's hard to watch all of this, it's hard to live with, and more than anything, it's hard to see my boys go through."
Spears, 40, wrote, "I am sorry to hear that my ex-husband has decided to discuss the relationship between me and my children."
Spears' husband, 28-year-old Sam Asghari, also shared his thoughts about the matter on his Instagram Story.
Asghari wrote, 'His statement of kids distancing themselves has no merit and it is irresponsible to make that statement public.
"Boys are very smart and will soon be 18 to make their own decisions," Asghari wrote.
He added, "they may eventually realize that the 'hard' part was a father who hasn't done much in over 15 years as a role model."
