“Something fishy,” says Sonali Phogat’s sister in reference to a BJP leader’s last phone contact, and she calls for a CBI investigation.

The family of BJP lawmaker from Haryana and television actor Sonali Phogat has questioned the circumstances surrounding the 42-year-untimely old’s death in Goa, stating they suspect foul play. Additionally, they have urged that authorities look into the death.

On August 23, Sonali Phogat was brought dead to a hospital in Goa. According to many reports, the late actor had a heart attack.

According to Sonali’s sister Rupesh, their mother had a conversation with the deceased actor the day before she passed away, during which the actor complained of “feeling uneasy after her dinner.”

“She called me the night before she passed away. She requested a WhatsApp conversation and said that something odd was going on. She had later spoken to our mother and expressed discomfort following a meal. She claimed that after eating, her body had ceased functioning correctly “explained Rupesh.

The eldest sibling of Sonali, Raman, asserted that Sonali was physically fit and could not have had a heart attack. “No heart attack could have happened to my sister. She had great fitness. We insist on a thorough inquiry. Her heart attack death is something the family is not yet willing to face. She didn’t have this medical condition, “stated Raman.

Sonali Phogat had uploaded several images and videos of herself to Instagram hours before her untimely demise. She was seen showing off her pink dupatta in the pictures.

She was confirmed brought dead by a Goa Hospital on August 23 and a charge of unnatural death was filed by the Goa Police in response.

Sonali, a Haryana native, ran against Kuldeep Bishnoi in the most recent Assembly election from Haryana’s Adampur constituency. In 2020, she also made an appearance in the reality programme “Bigg Boss.” Yashodhara, Sonali’s 15-year-old daughter, is Sonali’s only heir.
