Poco India has finally confirmed that we will be launching a new F-Series Performance Oriented device later this month. The new phone is the Poco F4 5G, the successor to the Poco F3 GT in India.
The launch event kicks off on June 23 at 5:30 pm, and interested users can stream the event live on Poco’s social media handles and YouTube channels.
Poco F4 5G: As far as we know
Although the Poco F4 5G has not been confirmed yet, we do know that the phone will come with up to 12GB of RAM and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chipset. The leak of the Poco F4 5G design also shows the circular triple camera setup on the back of the phone wrapped around a rectangular island. One of the confirmed color schemes of the phone is the shade of green that we see in the leaks.
The Poco F4 5G is expected to be a rebranded Redmi K40s smartphone. If so, we can see that the phone comes with a 6.67-inch, 120Hz AMOLED screen with HDR10 + support and a peak brightness of 1300 nits.
The phone is equipped with a 64MP main camera with OIS (Optical Image Stabilization), while the Redmi K40s have a 48MP + 8MP + 2MP camera and a 20MP front camera.
We can see that the phone also comes with a side mounted fingerprint scanner along with stereo speakers. With support for 67W fast charging and USB power delivery 3.0, the Poco F4 5G may support the same 4,500mAh battery.
