Lizard in cold drink: Customer says Ahmedabad McDonald’s Area Manager laughed at my complaint

Recently, the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) sealed a McDonald’s outlet on Science City Road in Ahmedabad following the discovery of a dead lizard in a customer’s drink.

Customers complained about this, but the manager did not pay much attention.

Bhargava Joshi, a customer who had previously posted a video of the incident on Twitter, said, “The lizard was found in my McDonald’s outlet. Laughing at the complaint, the area manager told us (check CCTV). Cameras. He did not come back. He promised to pay back the bill. ”

The video posted by Bhargava soon went viral on the internet. The AMC took note of this and checked and sealed the outlet.

They took a sample of the soft drink and sent it to the Public Health Laboratory.

For those unfamiliar with the incident on Saturday, two men who were drinking coke at McDonald’s spotted a lizard in one of their drinks.

A video posted on Twitter by one of Bhargava’s customers has caught the attention of netizens and officials.

McDonald’s also issued an official statement emphasizing the importance of cleanliness and hygiene in their outlets.
