Airtel and Jio 5G services are now available to customers of Lava 5G smartphones as the company begins to roll out update.

Lava has joined the list of smartphone manufacturers that have begun to push out software updates for its smartphones to allow the 5G services, joining Apple, Samsung, and Motorola. The software upgrade would enable all Lava 5G smartphone users to connect to the Airtel and Jio 5G networks on their device, according to the Indian smartphone manufacturer. The update may be installed by going to system settings and will be OTA-available.

Tejinder Sigh, the product head for Lava International, commented on the release of the 5G update, saying, “It has always been our aim to provide frequent software updates to our users to enhance the overall experience. Our teams have speedily implemented the FOTA update for the flagship AGNI 5G smartphone after the government announced the roll-out of 5G services earlier this month,”

For those who are not aware, Lava presently only offers one 5G smartphone, the Lava Agni 5G, but company plans to shortly introduce a new Lava Blaze 5G model in India. The company has not yet disclosed the Lava Blaze 5G’s price, but it has stated that it would cost roughly Rs 10,000. Interested customers will be able to reserve the new 5G smartphone around Diwali.

Following the successful launch of the Jio True 5G service in India at the India Mobile Congress (IMC 2022), Reliance Jio has also offered a welcome offer. Invited users can participate in a beta test of the nation’s new generation network as part of the Jio True 5G launch offer. The Jio 5G services will be available to subscribers in Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, and Varanasi. These clients will receive limitless 5G broadband at speeds of up to 1 Gbps or more.

In 8 cities across India, Bharti Airtel has begun offering its Airtel 5G Plus services. Customers of Airtel may now access its 5G services in 8 significant cities, the company announced. Airtel 5G Plus is available in Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Siliguri, Nagpur, and Varanasi, among other cities. One of the fastest roll-outs of the 5G network is expected to occur in urban India by 2023, according to the business.
