HTC Introduces metaverse smartphone Desire 22 Pro; here are the details

With the launch of the HTC Desire 22 Pro by HTC on Tuesday, the metaverse are focused on smartphones. This is an upgrade to the HTC Desire 21 Pro compared to last year. The smartphone is expected to launch in India in September.

There has been a lot of hype surrounding the device since HTC claimed that it “integrates the experience of mobile phones with virtual reality”. It’s part of HTC’s Metaverse ecosystem called Wives. It has been described as the “perfect partner” of HTC’s recent Vive Flow VR headsets. The details of how the headset works are unclear.

According to the company’s Taiwanese site, the Desire 22 Pro will also feature some NFT functionality, which the company says comes with a digital wallet for holding crypto assets. The catch here is that it may be a region-specific feature as it is not mentioned on any other HTC website.

Priced at £ 399 in the UK and offered by Snapdragon 695, this phone is a midrange player. It has a 6.6 inch FHD + display, 120Hz upgrade rate, 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage. The phone is IP67 rated for splash and dust resistance and is powered by a 4,520 mAh battery with wireless and reverse wireless charging.
