Britney Spears and Sam Asghari got married on June 9 in an intimate ceremony after signing a pre-wedding contract. According to TMZ, the pre-marital agreement between the 40-year-old pop artist and the 28-year-old Sam will save the pop star $ 60 million in wealth if the couple gets divorced. “Britney and Sam signed a plenum in her favor,” a source said on page six. “Her money is saved.”
However, she had earlier revealed that she had entrusted her lawyer, Matthew Rosengart, with the responsibility of appointing a family lawyer to create the arrangement. At the time, former federal prosecutors Spears and Rosengart expressed concern in court records that her estranged father, Jamie Spears, would terminate their plans, and that Jamie was still Britney’s multi – million dollar conservator. Jamie was suspended a few days later, and Britney’s 13 years of conservation ended in November 2021.
When Britney and 40-year-old Asghari announced their engagement in September 2021, many fans asked what would happen to her money if she got a divorce. During the conversation, the actor, who has become a personal trainer, joked on Instagram, “Of course we get [an] iron-clad prep to protect my jeep and shoe collection. [Sic] She’s going to pull me out one day.”
Meanwhile, Britney and Asghari got married last Thursday in the garden of Thousand Oaks Property. A-list celebrities Madonna, Selena Gomez, Paris Hilton and Drew Barrymore also joined the pair, who spent the rest of the night with them. Britney’s parents Jamie and Lynn Spears and her younger sister Jamie Lynn Spears were not present at the wedding. Sean Preston (16) and James Jayden (15) also left the party.
